Plenty of wheat beer flowed at Oktoberfest
There was plenty of oompah in Newmillerdam last weekend.
Around 150 people attended Newmillerdam Community and Conservation Association’s (NCCA) annual Oktoberfest in Aulis Hall at Pennine Camphill Community.
Some men and women even got into the spirit by wearing traditional lederhosen and dirndl at the venue near Boyne Hill.

Hide AdAdding to the Bavarian theme were quality German beers, The Brasswurst band, pies, pork and wunderbares Würst. Some ales from Yorkshire also added to the mix.
