Share your views on how Castleford could use share of £3.6 billion Towns Fund
Castleford has been given the opportunity to bid into the Government scheme for economic regeneration of towns through investment in areas such as land use, economic assets including cultural assets, skills and enterprise infrastructure.
The council has established the Castleford Taskforce, a board made up local businesses, funding partners, community groups, local ward members and the local Member of Parliament, Yvette Cooper. The Taskforce’s role is to represent the town and set the vision and strategy for the Town Investment Plan.

“This is a fantastic opportunity alongside our existing investment plans for Castleford.
