Rugby players in Ossett are tackling the grass tomorrow during their pre-season clean up.
Ossett RUFC are getting their new training pitch at Ossett Cricket Club up to scratch ahead of the new campaign.
The day-long clean up begins at 8.30am off Queens Terrace.
A club spokesman said: “In preparation for the new season Ossett RUFC are holding a Natwest working day on their new training pitch at Ossett Cricket Club. Current players and volunteers will be meeting throughout the day to clear the areas around the pitch ready for preseason training that starts on Monday 22nd June. Preseason will be led by Head Coach Mark Stuart, and will be held at both the Cricket Club and Southdale Fields. If any new players wish to join the club either at training, or on their Natwest day, they will be most welcome.”
