Parents help inspire youngsters at school

YOUNGSTERS have been getting inspiration from their parents during a week of fun activities.

The children, from Fitzwilliam Primary School, took part in arts and crafts, reading and IT lessons during the Inspire week, when they were joined in class by their mums and dads.

Angela Galley, the school’s business manager, said: “We hold Inspire events regularly and they are always really successful - the children and the parents get a lot out of the events.

“It gives parents a chance to see what kinds of things their children do in school and it encourages our pupils to work harder and discuss school with mum and dad.”
