TORRENTIAL rain is set to batter The Express area over the next two days, forecasters have warned.
Today, the Met Office has issued an amber warning for the region.
The rain is expected to last until Thursday with the higest temperature this week being just 14C.
No flood warnings have been issued yet but the Environment Agency is monitoring the situation closely.
Some parts of the country will see a month’s worth of rain in the next 24 hours.
