Man injured in Pontefract crash
A man had to be taken to hospital after a crash.
Fire crews, police and paramedics were called to Stuart Road, Pontefract, at around 6.55pm on Thursday.
Watch commander Darren Wales, of Pontefract Fire Station, said a Volkswagen Passat and a Peugeot 206 had been involved in a collision near the junction with Colonel’s Walk.
He said the driver of the Volkswagen, a man aged in his thirties, was taken to hospital.
