Cyclists are being encouraged to take to their saddles next month to raise money for Pontefract’s Prince of Wales Hospice.
This year’s Cyclothon takes place on Sunday, May 19 at Pontefract Park.
The event, which started 18 years ago, has raised more than £250,000 for the Halfpenny Lane hospice.
Tom Cowie, hospice event fundraiser, said: “This year’s Cyclothon is going to bigger and better than ever.”
The event has three routes of 20, 45 and 60 miles and organisers hope the day will raise £30,000.
