Supermarket giant Asda has announced another cut to its fuel prices.
The company is to lower the price of unleaded petrol to 105.7 pence per litre and diesel to 112.7 pence per litre - the lowest fuel prices in five years.
Andy Peake, Asda’s petrol trading director, said: “As fuel prices continue to drop, Asda is once again leading the way with our 14th price cut on fuel since September.
“No matter where customers live, they will benefit from the same fuel price with our national price cap of 105.7ppl for unleaded and 112.7ppl for diesel.”
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow (Tuesday, January 6).
