The games keep coming thick and fast for Frickley Athletic as their busy run-in to the end of the season in the Evo-Stik Premier League sees them play another four matches in eight days.
After three games this week, the Blues have little respite.
They host Hyde United on Saturday (3pm) then play Darlington 1883 at home in another league contest next Tuesday (7.45pm) before travelling to face Hallam FC in the semi-finals of the Sheffield & Hallam Senior Cup next Thursday (7.45pm) – with a final at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane at stake.
With further away league games to follow on Saturday week against Workington and the following Tuesday against Marine, Karl Rose’s squad is really being tested to the limit.
But unlike recent seasons they go into the closing games in a relaxed frame of mind, safe from relegation worries and in the top half of the table.
