There is no rest for Frickley Athletic players over the festive period with three games scheduled in seven days.
Karl Rose’s men face two home games and one away as they look to climb back into the top half of the Evo-Stik Premier League after falling to 14th place following their recent defeat to Blyth Spartans and draw with Halesowen Town.
Now they face Grantham Town at home on Boxing Day with the game kicking off at 3pm.
The visitors currently sit three places below the Blues, but can go above them with a victory as they are only two points behind them even if they have played two games more.
Frickley follow-up quickly when they have another holiday game, travelling to the Yorkshire coast to play fourth from bottom Whitby Town on Monday (kick-off 3pm).
They are back at hometo Rushall Olympic on Saturday, January 2 (kick-off 3pm).
Frickley manager Karl Rose has added further to his squad by signing 24-year-old striker Grant Ryan who has been at AFC Mansfield recently.
Ryan was originally a product of Mansfield Town’s academy and has since had a loan spell at Chasetown as well as playing for Rainworth MW, Hucknall Town, Belper Town and Long Eaton United.
He was not signed in time to play at Halesowen Town last Saturday, but could make his debut in the Boxing Day game.
