Karl Rose’s men dropped down to 14th place in the Evo-Stik Premier League following their 2-0 loss to a Rushall Olympic side below them in the table before kick-off, but can climb back into the top half if they earn three points when back on home soil again.

However, they face a seventh-placed Buxton side they have failed to beat in their last five meetings. They have not met in the league this season, but the Blues lost 2-1 in an FA Trophy tie in October when they failed to overcome opponents down to 10 men, Luke Hinsley scoring their only goal.

The Blues’ away game at Barwell, meanwhile, has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 27, (3pm). This replaces the previously scheduled away game at Marine, which will be rearranged in due course.

North Ferriby United have agreed to allow Tom Davie to extend his stay on loan at the SW Jackson Utilities Stadium.

Davie will now stay with the Blues until January 30.
