Homes near the Lightwaves Centre have also been affected, including ones on Lower York Street and Hatfeild Street.
Wakefield East councillor Stuart Heptinstall, who has been liasing with police over the issue on behalf of victims, said the incidents were occurring frequently.
He said: “It’s been going on for some months.
“It’s very unpleasant and families don’t like having to deal with it. It’s not what they want, having to wake up to something like that on their doorstep.

Inspector Mick Preston, head of Wakefield city and north west neighbourhood policing team said: "We have been made aware of this issue and are looking into it with partners.
"Behaviour of this type is completely unacceptable and creates an obvious risk to public health, which given the current pandemic is even more of a pertinent issue.
