Bogus tradesman targeted Pontefract pensioner
The pensioner, living in the Carleton area, had a man come to his door asking if he would like his guttering cleared.
The suspect quoted £40 but the gentleman refused. He then reduced the price hoping that this would persuade the homeowner to accept his offer.
Luckily he declined for a second time and the suspect left.
