Police arrested a youth for being drunk and disorderly when they were called to playing fields in South Elmsall last night (Friday).
South East Neighbourhood Policing Team had received a report of youths camping out, drinking and acting in an anti-social way at Gallon Croft Playing fields.
Officers found evidence of drug use and underage drinking, and the park was filled with empty cans and bottles.
One boy was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place and obstructing a constable.
The rest of the youths were told to leave, and can be arrested if they return within 48 hours.
