Clarence Park Music Festival returns for its 23rd year this weekend.

Mancunian quartet, Nothside and London-based punk band, Healthy Junkies are this year’s headliners.

Other performers taking to the stage include White Space, Echo Tape, The Now Nows, Allusondrugs and I Set the Sea on Fire as well as local bands and Wakefield College DJs.

There will also be food, a licensed bar and a selection of stalls.

The two-day festival, organised by Wakefield Music Collective, is Yorkshire’s longest running free music event.

Live music from Clarence Park bandstand, just off Denby Dale Road, Wakefield, starts at noon on both Saturday and Sunday.
