Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad to take on Huddersfield Giants on Friday night at the John Smith’s Stadium (kick-off 8pm).

The Tigers welcome back Nathan Massey who has recovered from a concussion that he suffered in the Magic Weekend game against Warrington Wolves.

Larne Patrick is the man who is forced to drop out due to the loan agreement with Huddersfield Giants, which prevents him from playing against his parent club.

Castleford have not won at the John Smith’s Stadium since 2009 and Tigers coach Daryl Powell is confident he has the team to end that run.

He said: “We need a good performance; I think we’ve been playing well in the last month but we need to rock up on Friday and hopefully pick up the two points. We know we’ve been good in the last few weeks with the ball but I thought we dropped off in defence a little bit.”

Fans can pick up the best possible price by pre-purchasing either in person from the Tigers Den club shop or online from the Tigers online box office. Limited official coach travel is still available, priced at £9 a seat. Visit the Tigers Den to book your seat.
