A bride-to-be remains seriously ill in hospital this morning (Monday) after the M62 hen party tragedy that claimed the life of her friend.
Stefanie Firth, 24, is one of seven women being treated at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) after Friday’s crash, which killed 18-year-old Bethany Jones.
A spokesman for the LGI said one of the injured was still in intensive care this morning, and one was on the high dependency unit. Five were being treated in the major trauma unit, which only opened at the start of the month. Their injuries range from serious internal injuries to broken bones.
