There was a real party atmosphere in Wakefield on May 8 2020 as people joined together to celebrate the 75th annivesary of VE Day, marking peace in Europe after the Second World War.
Streets across the district were covered with bunting and balloons as people recreated the spirit of May 8 1945 - while sticking to the coronavirus lockdown rules.
