Geoff retires after 49 years with Wakefield timber merchant
A member of staff at a Wakefield timber merchant's has retired after 49 years.
Geoff Hill has spent his whole working life with Howarth Timber & Building Supplies on Doncaster Road, carrying out a variety of different roles over the years
Now he is retired he has swapped the working day for the school run and looking after his grandchildren and dog.
Geoff is not the only long serving employee at the firm. The staff at Wakefield Howarth have a combined total of 346 years’ service between them, 202 years of these accrued by just five people.
