HEMSWORTH RUFC return to Yorkshire Division Four action on Saturday when they host Ossett at Moxon Fields (kick-off 2.15pm).
Mark Wilson’s men are nicely positioned in second for an assault on promotion this season and the Moxon Fields boss is hoping his men start 2012 in winning fashion.
“I’d be happy with a four point win against Ossett,” he said.
“Obviously a winning bonus point but would be nice but to just return with a win is all I’m asking.
“I’m not counting my chickens because I know Ossett can be tricky opposition but I’m very confident my men can get the win.”
Hemsworth snatched a 23-19 win in the reverse fixture at Ossett and victory on Saturday could lift them back to the top of the table should other results go their way.
Current leaders Leeds Medics and Dentists face a tricky short trip to Leeds Corinthians.
Hemsworth will welcome back Lewis Thompson to their second row, but Rob Hooker and Gareth Jones will both be sidelined through injury.
Neal Mears Senior will also return to the squad, as will Paul Lawton and Rob Taylor to make it a strong Hemsworth pack.
