Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Super League clash with Leeds Rhinos has been postponed due to the overnight snowfall and will now be played on Sunday.

The West Yorkshire derby match was due to be contested at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium tonight but the club has made the decision to move it back to Sunday at 3.30pm.

Heavy snow fell in Wakefield overnight and Wildcats announced the decision to postponed the clash at 11am this morning.

Tickets already bought for tonight’s scheduled match will still be valid for Sunday’s rearranged fixture.

Saturday’s scheduled under-19’s match between the sides at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium has also been postponed.
