Tongan international Etu Uaisele is in line to make his Featherstone Rovers debut in Sunday’s Kingstone Press Championship game against North Wales Crusaders at Wrexham.

The 29-year-old winger or centre arrived at Featherstone last week.

Rovers coach John Bastian said: “Etu is settling in really well and he’s a good add to the group.

“He’s got a lovely personality and he’s always smiling and laughing and that’s good. You want your group to have those sort of characteristics and personalties. They add quality to the group.

“He’ll be up for selection this weekend with the other wingers like Will Sharp and Jamel Chisholm.”

Meanwhile, Rovers winger Tommy Saxton has joined Championship rivals Halifax on a month’s loan, starting tomorrow (Saturday).
