Two-time darts world champion Dennis ‘The Menace’ Priestley will be on the oche in Moorthorpe next month for a charity night.

The Mexborough-born darts ace will be at Moorthorpe Rec Sports and Social Club on Friday, July 19 for a night to raise money for M62 minibush crash victim Bethany Jones, her friends involved in the crash and the Air Ambulance service.

Priestley will take on 16 opponents on the night, who have raised money through sponsorship, over a 501 game and local PDC referee Paul Hinks will watch over proceedings.

There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available throughout the night.

Tickets for the night are £3 and anyone interested should contact Trevor Jones on 07743 018530 or 01977 648812.
