FEATHERSTONE Rovers skipper Stuart Dickens (pictured) has agreed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of 2013.
Dickens, who recently made his 400th first-team appearance for Rovers, said: "I'm delighted to sign another 12 month contract at Featherstone.
"Since Daryl Powell has come to the club it's really progressed and there's a great bunch of lads here and I wanted to continue to be a part of it. The last couple of weeks have shown much the club has grown on and off the field and hopefully I can continue to contribute on the field to take the club on to the next level."
Rovers chairman Mark Campbell said: "Following hot on the heels of Jonny Hepworth signing a new deal it is a great pleasure to announce that Stu has agreed an extension to further commit to Featherstone Rovers. Stu leads by example and provides a fantastic platform for a lot of what happens on the pitch. We are hoping to announce further deals shortly as we look to be even stronger in 2013."
Head coach Daryl Powell said: "Stuart has passed 400 games for Featherstone Rovers only a matter of weeks ago and is still playing as well now as ever. His leadership is first class and his game continues to improve from week to week. I am thrilled he will continue his career at a club that is most special to him."
