FEATHERSTONE Rovers are honouring the club’s war heroes.

Rovers have created a roll of honour board for club officials and players who have served their country in war.

The board - near the Freddie Miller Gate entrance to the club’s Post Office Road ground - features the names of former club officials Donald Hunt, Frank Mountain and Colin Smith and former players Jack Blackburn, Alan Boothroyd, William Bradshaw, Albert Fearnley, Laurie Gant, Albert Longley and Jim Russell.

Rovers will be pleased to receive details of any other people whose names should be included on the roll of honour.
