Specialist construction firm SIPBuild UK has joined the campaign to hoist Featherstone Rovers into Super League.

The national contractor, which specialises in the construction of high performance, eco-friendly buildings, is a long term supporter of local causes.

The rapidly expanding company wants to be part of the Rovers’ story and use the partnership to stay engaged with the local community as it takes on projects across the UK.

Director of SIPBuild UK and life-long rugby league fan Simon Hunt said: “We admire what the club’s partners have already been doing and aspire to boost Featherstone Rovers’ future opportunities.

“We have strong ties with Rovers and want to see them realise their ambitions. Rovers is a fantastic club and we hope to emulate their recent and future successes.”

SIPBuild UK will be sponsoring matches and paying for ground board advertising.

Rovers commercial manager Paul Taylor said: “We are thrilled that such a successful local company is getting behind us in spirit and financially.

“SIPBuild has nationwide presence and join some fantastic commercial partners at Rovers and their support is a great boost as our Destination Super League campaign in 2014 gets underway.”

Castleford-based SIPBuild UK was shortlisted for Sustainable Project of the Year in the Builder and Engineer Awards 2013 and Best Use of SIPs in the Build It Awards 2013. It works on projects in the education, housing and leisure sectors.
