Featherstone centre Michael Channing has been cleared to play in Sunday’s opening Kingstone Press Championship game at Bradford Bulls.

Channing was found not guilty of ‘running in and punching’ when he appeared at tonight’s RFL disciplinary hearing.

He was charged following an incident in Featherstone’s pre-season game against Hunslet Hawks last month.

Rovers prop Colton Roche received a two-match ban after submitting an early guilty plea to the same offence in the same match.
