Three-times Challenge Cup winners Featherstone Rovers reached the sixth round with Sunday’s 38-12 win over North Wales Crusaders at Wrexham.

Rovers knocked the Welsh team out of the competition for the second year runnning.

They beat them 66-0 at Big Fellas Stadium in the fourth round 12 months ago.

Featherstone maintained their 100 per cent away record this season after leading 16-6 at half-time against their League One opponents who beat Doncaster in the previous round.

Andy Ellis, Gareth Moore and Will Sharp scored first-half tries for the visitors.

Ben Blackmore bagged a second-half double and former Australia and Samoa international Reni Maitua and Alex Foster also crossed.

Moore kicked five goals.

The sixth round draw will take place live on Sportsday on the BBC News Channel tomorrow (Monday) between 6.30 and 7.00pm.

The BBC News channel can be viewed on Freeview 130, Freesat 212, Sky 503 and Virgin Media 601.

The eight winners from this weekend’s fifth round ties will join the top eight First Utility Super League teams from 2014 in the draw to produce eight ties that will be played over the weekend of May 16 and 17.
