Featherstone Rovers lost half-back Kyle Briggs with a suspected broken ankle in Monday’s 20-12 defeat at London Broncos.

Forwards Colton Roche and John Davies were also casualties as Featherstone were edged out after having a 15-7 penalty count against them.

London scored three tries in the last 13 minutes to come out on top.

Rovers coach Jon Sharp said: “We lost Briggs with what looks like a broken ankle.

“We lost Roche with a high ankle strain which could be a break as well and then we lost Davies with a head knock.

“We had some really bad adversity. We battled away but it was just too much for us in the end.”
