Featherstone Rovers take on London Broncos at next season’s Kingstone Press Championship Summer Bash at Blackpool FC’s Bloomfield Road ground on May Bank Holiday weekend.
Rovers versus Broncos will be the third of four fixtures on Saturday, May 27.
The League One Cup final kicks off at noon, followed by Oldham v Rochdale Hornets at 2.30, Featherstone v London at 4.45 and Bradford Bulls v Hull KR at 7pm.
Sunday’s fixtures are Swinton Lions v Sheffield Eagles (12.45), Toulouse v Halifax (3pm) and Batley Bulldogs v Dewsbury Rams (5.15).
Featherstone will aim to put up a far better show than they did at last season’s Summer Bash when they were trounced 37-0 by Halifax.
RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer said: “The Summer Bash is always a fantastic event and one that many fans love to attend.
“Last year 16,000 passionate fans came to Blackpool and watched some outstanding action.
“The game between Leigh and Bradford was one of the most exciting games of 2016 and I am certain that some of the pairings this year will provide some memorable matches.
“It is always a memorable weekend showcasing the Kingstone Press Championship and the very best of League 1 and we are all very proud to be taking it back to Blackpool in 2017.”
