Featherstone Rovers have announced a series of ticket initiatives to encourage people to attend their next home Championship game against Sheffield Eagles on Good Friday (7.30pm).

The club will allow 2016 Rovers season ticket holders to bring a friend for just £10.

Season ticket holders need to give their friend voucher L from the 2016 season ticket book and this can be exchanged for a £10 ticket at the club office during normal opening hours or at the main ticket office in the car park from 5.30pm on match day.

Featherstone Rovers Foundation is working in partnership with Featherstone Lions to celebrate the amateur club and its role in providing players for the professional game.

Rovers player and community officer Jamie Cording has been instrumental in a promotion which aims to get every current player at the Lions, from the youngest to the oldest, to the game along with some players who have made it into the professional ranks including current Man of Steel Zak Hardaker, Rob Burrow and Tom Briscoe, with all of those attending being invited onto the pitch at half-time for a celebration photograph.

Rovers will be offering a dedicated family ticket offer to all the club’s commercial partners and their employees for the fixture against Sheffield. Rovers Foundation will also roll out the initiative in the schools they are currently working with.

Another initiative will be an offer to season ticket holders at all other clubs, whether that be Super League, Championship or League One.

On production of a 2016 season ticket at the Rovers match day ticket office, fans from other clubs can purchase a ticket for the Sheffield game for just £10.

At the Rovers-Eagles game, there will also be giveaways for the youngsters such as Easter eggs and glow sticks.
