Castleford Tigers will play home games at the The Mend-A-Hose Jungle next season after announcing a new stadium sponsorship deal with Mend-A-Hose Hydraulics Ltd for the 2014 Super League campaign.
Mend-A-Hose Hydraulics, who service, stock and market the widest range of fluid connector products available, are long term sponsors of the Tigers with their branding currently featuring on the club’s playing shirts.
The new deal will see Mend-A-Hose replace existing stadium sponsors Wish Communications who have held naming rights for 2013.
Castleford Tigers commercial director Mark Grattan said: “As part of our search for a new stadium naming rights sponsor, we were looking for somebody who shared our desire to reinstate the name ‘The Jungle’, a hugely popular name amongst our fans, and we are absolutely delighted that Mend-A-Hose wanted the same.
“Mend-A-Hose have been huge supporters of the club for many years and we’re really pleased that they have increased their level of sponsorship with us.
“As a Super League club with great ambitions for growth next season and beyond, we are positive that The Mend-A-Hose Jungle will provide them with a big local and national audience to promote their brand.”
John Duff, managing director of Mend-A-Hose, said: “We are thrilled to become the new stadium sponsors of Castleford Tigers.
“As long-term sponsors of Castleford, it gives us great pleasure to take our partnership to another level and support the club and Daryl Powell in their efforts to continue moving forwards in what will be a hugely important season.
“We are proud to be associated with the club which is the heartbeat of the community. Our existing sponsorships over the years have helped our business grow and we are sure that will continue by becoming stadium sponsors.
“We wanted to bring ‘The Jungle’ back to Castleford because, as fans ourselves, we know how fond fans are of that name and are delighted that we can be part of bringing the good times back to the Tigers.”
