Featherstone kept up the pressure on Kingstone Press Championship leaders Sheffield by winning 24-12 at Keighley on Sunday.

James Lockwood bagged three tries in a victory that kept Rovers three points behind the Eagles with three games remaining.

Tries by Lockwood and Jack Bussey, both goaled by Liam Finn, gave Featherstone a 12-0 interval lead.

The Cougars cut the gap to six points but Rovers sealed victory when Lockwood grabbed two more tries and Finn landed his fourth goal.

It was Featherstone’s third win from three games under new team manager Sean Long.
