Welfare to kick-off campaign at old foes Pontefract Collieries

HEMSWORTH MW will kick-off their 2012-13 Northern Counties East League campaign at derby foes Pontefract Collieries.

Wayne Benn will take his men to the Beechnut Lane Stadium on Saturday, August 8 for the opening match of their Division 1 campaign (kick-off 3pm).

Welfare’s first home match will take place at the Fitzwilliam Sports Complex on Tuesday, August 14 when Selby Town are the visitors.

Other notable fixtures include a double-header against Albion Sports around Christmas, with Sports visiting Fitzwilliam on Saturday, December 22 and the return match taking place a week later on Saturday, December 29.

Welfare’s first match of 2013 will be at home against Pontefract Collieries on Saturday, January 5 and they’ll bring their campaign to a close with a trip to AFC Emley on Saturday, April 27.
