Wakefield Wildcats welcome local rivals for Rugby League 9s festival

WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats play host to the penultimate round of this year’s Rugby League 9s competition at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium tonight.

Wildcats will welcome Eastern Division rivals Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers and Huddersfield Giants for the third round festival, with six matches taking place from 7pm when the hosts kick-off against Huddersfield.

All four teams will be aiming for positive results with places in the Grand Final at Headingley Carnegie later this month at stake.

The night starts at 6pm with touch rugby taking place in the hour leading up to kick-off and there will be a mascot race and bouncy castle.

Entry is £3 for adults and concessions and free for under-16s.

Wakefield will also host the final round of the competition on Tuesday, June 19.
