Rovers match shown free on TV
FEATHERSTONE’S match against French side Pia at Bigfellas Stadium on Sunday (3pm) to decide who will be crowned the 2012 European club champions will be shown free-to-air on Premier Sports.
Non Premier Sports subscribers can watch the Anglo-French Challenge game free on Sky channel 433.
RFL director of communications Neil Wood said: “Having the match available to watch free-to-air is a great initiative for the newly-introduced Anglo-French Challenge and a great chance for fans to experience the high quality coverage of Premier Sports.
“The Co-operative Championship has worked closely with the French Elite Division over recent years and this new tournament is a great progression for the two competitions.”
The Premier Sports cameras will also be at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday when Leigh Centurions play Avignon (2pm).
Two other Championship clubs are involved in Anglo-French Challenge action on Saturday evening when Sheffield Eagles travel to Carcassonne (6pm) and Toulouse Olympique host Halifax (3pm).
The overall winners of the tournament will be determined by the results of all four Anglo-French Challenge matches. Should the series end 2-2, the outcome will be decided by aggregating the combined points
