'Robbo' returns to Frickley Athletic from Harrogate Railway Athletic
BILLY Heath has brought former Frickley Athletic defender Steve Robinson back to the Tech5 Stadium from Harrogate Railway Athletic.
The former Blues' captain will bolster the Frickley squad as they look to pull away from the UniBond Premier Division relegation spots.
Robinson, who plays primarily as a right-back, left Frickley last season after starting over 200 games for the Westfield Lane club.
But he failed to alter the fortunes of Harrogate Railway, who sit in the relegation places in Division 1 North.
Robinson is set to go straight into the squad for this Saturday's vital match against local rivals Ossett Town at the the Tech5 Stadium (kick-off 3pm), weather permitting.
The UniBond League has rearranged the Blues' away game at Worksop Town.
The clash will now take place on Wednesday, February 17 (kick-off 7.45pm) after the original match was postponed due to the wintry weather.
Matches against Buxton and Kendal Town are yet to be rearranged.
Blues fans are invited to an open meeting at the Tech5 Stadium on Monday, January 18 from 7.30pm to discuss plans for the club's centenary year.
