Nostell seek new cricketers to boost newly-launched second team
NOSTELL CC are recruiting cricketers of all abilities and experience to bolster their player numbers ahead of the forthcoming 2012 season.
The club, based at Garmil Lane, has launched a second string for the new season and are seeking new players to attend the start of winter training.
Winter nets start on Sunday, February 26 between 12pm-2pm at Hemsworth Sports Centre and players old and new are welcome to attend.
Nets will then be held at the same time and place weekly until outdoor practice resumes.
The club’s first team has enjoyed superb success in climbing up the Pontefract League in recent seasons and hopes to do the same with a newly-formed second string for 2012.
Nostell 1sts play in Division 1 and the 2nds will enter into the competition in Division 8. The new season starts on Saturday, April 21.
