Junior football teams seek new players
THE snowfall and cold conditions forced the postponement of all the local junior football over the weekend.
All teams will be hoping the weather improves so they can return to competitive action this weekend.
A number of teams are looking for new players to bolster their squads.
Upton United U9s are appealing for new players to bolster their existing squad.
Training is on Friday evenings at Minsthorpe astroturf. For more information, ring Rob Stables on 07738830273.
New team Frickley Rangers U15s are also looking for new players to boost their squad.
Players of all abilities are welcome to join and coaches are also being sought.
