Popular Castleford Tigers star Craig Huby has three more events planned in his testimonial year and hopes to round things off with a special game before the start of next season.

The first of the upcoming events tomorrow night (Friday) at the Wish Communications Stadium is a fans forum involving players from the Tigers and Leeds Rhinos before the two West Yorkshire rivals meet in a big Super League clash two days later.

A poker night follows on Friday, February, 22, again at the ground, and on Saturday, March 9 there will be a ladies night which will see several Cas players agreeing to take their kit off for the evening.

Huby is pleased with the way supporters have responded in his testimonial year.

He said: “It’s been going really well and I’m looking forward to these next events coming up all down at the ground.

“For the fans forum ahead of the Leeds game Weller Hauraki. Michael Shenton and Justin Carney are coming down from us and hopefully Rob Burrow, Carl Ablett and Zak Hardaker from Leeds to do a Q&A with the fans. After that there will then be a quiz that one of the fans has put together for us.

“On February 22 we’re going to have a bit of fun with a poker night and we are quite excited about the ladies night on March 9 when we’ve got some of the lads doing some topless waiting. We’ve got a drag queen coming down as well and it will be quite an event.

“Hopefully there’s also going to be a testimonial game at the Cas ground next January.”
