Blues sign Harrogate duo as Morris is transfer-listed
FRICKLEY Athletic have bolstered their defence by signing two players from Harrogate Town, while striker Lee Morris has been transfer listed.
Heath has signed Michael Wood and Ben Chapman from the Blue Square North side as Frickley look for improved performances to lift them away from the UniBond Premier Division relegation spots.
Wood, 20, and Chapman, 30, have both featured for Town this season and are expected to go straight into the squad for Frickley's trip to Worksop Town on Wednesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
But the Blues look set to continue their battle against the drop without the services of striker Lee Morris.
A statement on the official Frickley website states that Morris has been slapped on the transfer list in light of disappointing performances of late.
The 28-year-old, who has enjoyed two spells with the Blues, has scored seven goals so far this season.
