Blues boss ready to wield the axe for crunch Nantwich clash
BLUES boss Billy Heath won't be afraid to drop some of his more experienced players in an attempt to change the fortunes his relegation-threatened side.
Heath has voiced his concerns with his confidence-sapped troops following two more disappointing UniBond Premier League defeats.
It means he's set to shuffle his pack for the crucial visit to Nantwich Town on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
"People need to start looking at themselves and upping their game and if not then we'll have to change things around," he said.
"Some of our experienced players need to step up to the plate for us and if not then we'll change things and put some of the younger lads in who are hungry to play."
The Blues haven't won since their slender 3-2 success at rock-bottom Durham City on Saturday, December 5, and sit just one place above the relegation zone.
And with games running out, Heath knows his men need to start picking up vital wins sooner rather than later.
"The next two games are huge, huge games for us," he said.
"We need the wins to start climbing up the table and we have some of the league's big hitters coming to us after these away games so we really need to get the points on the board."
