Blues offer Premier League and Football League season ticket holders free admission
SEASON ticket holders at Premier League and Football League clubs are being given free entry into Frickley Athletic's home match against Marine next month.
The Blues are taking part in 'Non-League Day' on Saturday, September 4, when they host Marine in the Evo-Stik Premier League and will be hoping for a bumper crowd.
The day has been created to get football fans to support their local non-league club, with no competitive action taking place in the Premier League or Football League due to the international weekend.
And with England facing Bulgaria in their European Championships qualifier on the Friday night, it gives fans the perfect chance to catch some local non-league football.
A Blues' statement read: "As there is so little professional football due to the England v Bulgaria match on the previous evening the day is being classed as "Non League Day" with a national push to get fans of professional clubs to watch their local non-league side on this day.
"Frickley are doing their bit by hoping their offer will appeal to supporters of not only the local clubs such as Barnsley, Doncaster Rovers, Leeds United and both Sheffield clubs but also the likes of Manchester United who have a large local supporters club."
