Blues all at sea following Marine defeat

Frickley Athletic 0 Marine 1 FRICKLEY Athletic suffered a blow in their battle against relegation as Marine inflicted defeat on Billy Heath's men at the Tech5 Stadium on Saturday.

Lee McEvilly's 23rd minute strike was enough to give the Liverpool club all three points at a chilly Westfield Lane.

It leaves Frickley just one point and one position above the UniBond Premier Division relegation spots.

The match was the Blues' fourth without victory.

Heath will now have to raise his troops for another crunch clash on Tuesday night with a tough trip to Buxton.

See Thursday's Hemsworth and South Elmsall Express for full match report and reaction.
