Andy’s spell at Rovers has Finn-ished
FORMER Warrington Wolves under 20s back-rower Andy Finn has left Featherstone Rovers after turning down a contract offer.
Finn in played two pre-season trial matches.
He made his Featherstone debut as a substitute in the New Year’s Day game against Hunslet Hawks and then played a full match at loose-forward against Doncaster.
Rovers coach Daryl Powell said: “Andy Finn decided not to take up the offer of a contract. We offered him a match-terms contract but I think he saw a lot of players in front of him and I think he’s decided to play rugby union.”
