LEEDS United have confirmed experienced pair Andy Gray and Jamie Ashdown have agreed deals at Elland Road.
Both players are free agents and are set to sign permanent contracts after training with United.
Manager Neil Warnock has now made six summer signings following the capture of Jason Pearce, Adam Drury, Paul Green and Paddy Kenny.
Striker Gray has agreed a one-year contract as he returns to the club where he started his career in 1995.
The 34-year-old, who made 29 appearances during his previous stint at Leeds, returns to Elland Road after being released by Barnsley at the end of last season.
Gray scored twice in United's 5-2 pre-season win against Farsley last week.
Goalkeeper Ashdown, 31, played for Portsmouth last season after previous spells with Reading, Bournemouth, Rushden and Diamonds and Norwich City.
Ashdown replaces Andy Lonergan who has moved to Bolton following Kenny's arrival from QPR.
