Bowman had been in caretaker control of the Northern Counties East League side following the departure of previous boss Wayne Benn to Goole AFC but has now been confirmed as his permanent successor following recent good results.

“Daryl has been the caretaker manager since the job became vacant and the committee were happy with the way he has conducted business on and off the field.”
Nine people had applied for the job but Bowman got the nod and has named Alan Billingham as his assistant at the MDC Sports Stadium.
