HEMSWORTH RUFC will look to finish their Yorkshire Division 4 campaign with victory on Saturday when they welcome Ossett to Moxon Fields (kick-off 3pm).

Carl Wroe’s men have enjoyed an impressive campaign and could still take third position in the table should they beat their Wakefield rivals and Harrogate Pythons slip-up at Old Grovians.

Hemsworth will also be out to dish out some revenge on Ossett after they fell to defeat in their opening match of the campaign in the reverse fixture.

“The defeat at Ossett kind of upset the start to our season so we’ll be out for revenge,” said coach Mark Wilson.

“We’re not counting our chickens but we should be strong enough to finish the season with a win.

“We’ll be pretty much full strength and we can still take third spot.”

Gavin Sykes will be out for Hemsworth while Dale Harrison will also miss out.

Sykes had to leave Hemsworth’s 7-0 victory at Halifax on Saturday early after an altercation left him with damage to his eye and nose.

Mark Ellis will be available for selection after missing Wednesday night’s South Yorkshire cup game at Wath and Guy Picketts could feature.
