Castleford Tigers player Weller Hauraki has been fined £300 by an RFL Operational Rules Tribunal after being found guilty of the Grade A offence of punching in a Super League Round 27 fixtures against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday.

Hauraki, who pleaded guilty to the 31st-minute offence, avoided suspension after the tribunal took into consideration the nature of the incident, which led to Hauraki and Wakefield player Ben Cockayne being sin-binned.
