Hemsworth MW will hope to welcome their biggest crowd of the season to the MDC Sports Stadium on Good Friday when Knaresborough Town visit (kick-off 4.30pm).

The match is part of this year’s Northern Counties East League (NCEL) Easter Groundhop, which will see supporters ‘hop’ from ground-to-ground to take in four NCEL matches throughout the day.

The first match is in the Premier Division where Glasshoughton Welfare host Nostell MW at 11am before attentions turn to three matches in Division 1.

Pontefract Collieries welcome Selby Town at 1.45pm before Welfare’s home clash against Knaresborough at 4.30pm.

Groundhoppers will finish their day at Athersley Recreation’s home match against Askern Villa at 7.45pm.

Hemsworth’s match is the first of three home matches on the spin for the club, with Louth Town the visitors next Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

Six of Welfare’s final eight matches are at home, with the season finishing on Saturday, May 4.
